AN HOUR FOR IRELAND

On Sunday, 27th March, a big crowd gathered at St Joseph's to welcome the symbolic International Eucharistic Congress Bell.

It marked the beginning of our journey in preparing for the Eucharistic event in Ireland in June 2011. Parishes, schools, groups, families, individuals are invited to focus on the place of the Mass in their faith journey.

We are all responsible for doing our part.

A special hour of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will take place every Friday after the 9.30am Mass-from 10.00am-11.00am.

This will continue until June 2012.

We ask as many as possible to make a commitment to take part.

The Redemptorists will also be part of this.

It will be an "Hour for Ireland" where we pool our prayers for all the people of Ireland.
